Young scholars at the Great Escape Tutoring Center will have an opportunity to earn community service hours for school, and/or work experience by serving as a Youth Tutor.  We believe that youth learn a lot from one another.  Therefore, we give them an opportunity to showcase what they've learned which also builds confidence and develops speaking skills.  Peer tutoring is mutually beneficial.  The student being tutored receives instruction in layman terms. The youth tutor becomes both more confident and stronger in the material they are tutoring because you have to fully understand the material to be able to explain it.
